Dangerous Cold Moves In Dangerously Cold Wind Chills Thu-Fri
Strong northwest winds of 15 to 25 mph, with gusts to 35 mph, develop after midnight tonight and continue through Thursday. This will create areas of blowing and drifting snow in open areas leading to slippery travel. Temperatures will fall through the single digits above and below zero on Thursday. Dangerously cold wind chills of -20 to -35 are expected from Thursday through Friday morning. Frost bite can occur in as little as 30 minutes to exposed skin.
